Atanas Kolev born on 07.08.1959 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria

Since 1980 Member of Association of artists of Plovdiv, Bulgaria
1980 - 1989 participation in several joint exhibitions
1989 moved to Austria
2000 registered in the city encyclopedia of Tulln in the section "Personalities", as an artist.
2002 - 2005, establishment and management of a gallery in Weissenkirchen an der Persling
2002, Member of the Union of professional artists of Austria.
2006 founds the organization 'Atelier an der Donau' in Pöchlarn, hometown of the painter Oskar Kokoschka.
Since 2006 organiser and artistic director of the annual International Symposium "Atelier an der Donau"
2011 awarded the honorary award for art and culture of the city of Pöchlarn, Austria
